The Hog is a Head of Growth. It's also an actual hog, and hogs hunt for truffles.
The product was making a hard shift, from a GTM SaaS platform into a developer tool, from marketers to engineers. The mascot needed to carry that: instinctive, a little feral, and quietly sophisticated. Hogs don't follow a trail. They root for what's valuable before anyone else finds it.
The visual identity deliberately doesn't commit to one style, because the API itself doesn't. It hooks into whatever you're building. And "hooks" felt like the right word for all of it: the React kind, the kind on a knitting needle, the kind that grabs something and holds. Technical craft, domestic craft. The same gesture, different contexts.

Hackers say it when something's coming together, deep in a build, something real taking shape. The Hog, in the kitchen, making something out of nothing.
