Dynamism

Italian Futurism was a political movement with a desperate need to destroy the past in order to pave way for technological progress, glorifying war as “the world’s only hygiene”. The art that accompanied this drive for radical change was signified by speed, dynamism, and aggressive angles. Over 100 years later, we’re faced with a similar movement to advance technology and artificial intelligence.

Inspired by the sense of speed from Futurist art, I complement dynamism with natural forms as a critique of this technological obsession and its consequences.
